The DELTA Syllabus aims to deliver a high-quality, adaptable, and impactful data literacy education that aligns with contemporary academic and industry standards.

Description

The DELTA online learning platform is a simple learning management system that will include the following features described in bullet points:

•              learning content

•              learning objectives

•              suitable methodology

•              interactive workspace for training

•              examples of data visualization/analytics (data projects)

The platform will be used as a unique environment for delivering pilot courses and online training activities. Regarding the technical solutions for the development of the

platform, the partners will evaluate the use of some open-source solutions such as Moodle, in order to select the one that better suits the project needs.

Target groups: Learning providers, trainers, course organizers, learners (Students and Professionals) in the workplace.

Description

The partners will design specific training modules for the main target groups of the 2 training events, which are HE professionals, company employees and students who will act as ambassadors. The objective is to make them understand the DELTA approach and apply it properly during the pilot phase. In particular, the main topics that will be

covered are:

•              project’s objectives

•              explanation of the data literacy compendium and data course content.

•              presentation of the online platform

•              objectives and organization of the learning projects

Each target group will receive specific information (also by participating in parallel workshops) about their specific role and expected activities in the project.

Description

The training activities will consist of:

•              1 transnational training that will be held in Greece

•              1 transnational training that will be held in Italy.

During these 2 seminars, all members of the consortium will be involved, as well as students like DELTA ambassadors. For recruitment: each partner will nominate 3 participants who are involved in either teaching, training, course/ programme management, career guidance services and who also have a role within their organization for peer review and staff support wherever possible.

Target groups: Learners and professionals in HE and at the workplace, learning providers, trainers, course organizers, HR managers.

Description

After the train-the-trainer phase, an assessment activity becomes necessary to optimize the DELTA piloting and prevent possible risks that could occur during the practical phase. The partners will collect feedback from all participants and will stay in contact with them in case of concerns or questions regarding the pilot project implementation.

Description

Learning arrangements will be established between institutions, trainers, managers and learners. They describe learning settings, objectives and resources as a ‘learning project.
